Winter seed saving

We leave a lot of the plants over the winter for seeds to naturally fall out where we want plants to grow back annually. We also leave them for the birds to feed on until late winter, early spring when beds get weeded, nourished.  The rest of the seeds are dried and stored or re-sown in the cold frames and polytunnel.

Seeds: Echinacea, Sunflower, Mullein (Kings Candle, Königskertze, Verbascum), Evening Primrose, Rudbekia.
