Using old windows to build a lean-to greenhouse/workshop

Fabien Freyheit a local carpenter and maverick builder gets stuck into the project. The only materials bought will be chalk,  which is mined 10km away in St. Astier and sand and screws.

It takes a fair bit of time to clean up the windows and sand them back but, the greenhouse  will tie in beautifully with the rest of the mill, once its all finished.

Good to have the time at the moment to devote to this project.

There has always been a gap there; we are just making it bigger.
Laying out the old windows to puzzle the lean-to greenhouse together. Great if everything from here is recycled so very little goes to the tip
All the stones will be reused.
New vistas and access point. A sliver of afternoon sun flooding in.
