A mixed bag this month. Lovely inspiring work by students and a new baby lamb Opal. But also torrential downpours and sheep getting into the potager because I left the gate open after watering in the evening. They greeted me early in the morning with a big grin after gobbling up 20 ready-to-eat lettuces and chewing the tops off our tomatoes grown from seed. I felt gutted but could only laugh at my own stupidity and instant punishment for carelessness and negligence.
