I had, for me, a dream pottery holiday with Sylph. She is an experienced professional and an excellent teacher. I could already throw but I picked up so many tips on how to improve. And had fun trying out a range of glazes. There was one other student , two is the maximum, so you get very close attention. Also there is a good chance you will meet someone from another country so that in itself is most enjoyable.
The converted moulin is delightfully rustic and furnished with an eclectic collection of furniture, who could not be charmed. We had lunch in a different restaurant each day and all were super. Sylph is also a great cook and provided an excellent meal each evening. She is a superb host. She did offer outings but we were enjoying the pottery too much. I would say this was definitely a 10 out of 10 holiday.
