As beginners within the world of ceramics a week with Sylph was the best start we could wish for. Traveling from Denmark, rich in ideas and low on skills Sylph met us with open mind and arms.
We have spent an intensive and busy week learning from Sylph while also getting close to her and her life as a potter living a sustainable lifestyle in the mill caring for nature and her animals.
Sylph accommodated our wishes in an impressive manner. We managed to throw stoneware and porcelain, cast porcelain and do slab building, bringing home pieces we did not dare to dream of. Sylph took us through all processes from start to end making sure we took notes on key pointers enabling us to continue back home.
